This United Nation report launched yesterday in Caucun (Mexico) on the sidelines of the 13th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to Convention, reviews in the first part the state of knowledge of the various impacts of marine debris on marine and coastal biodiversity and in the second part a review of policy options and approaches that are in place or have been proposed to address the impacts of marine debris.
