Hi Kim san, your concern with my paper is greatly appreciated! I did not analyze sorbed chemicals because my background is physical oceanography, and thus, my focus is on origin, transport processes in ocean currents, and fate of plastic fragments. Prof Hideshige Takada (you met him in Tokyo), an excellent environmental chemist in Japan, may publish a research report on this matter. Unfortunately, we don't have any regulation to microbeads in PCCPs in Japan. I however know  manufacturers in Japan started self-imposed regulation to reduce microbeads in their products.  best, isobe
